NOTE: We are currently hiring for a night and weekend shift. Specific hours vary and can be flexible.
The Industrial Maintenance Technician is responsible for performing highly diversified duties supporting Engineering, Operations and R&D for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining both process control systems and facility equipment with a specific focus on preventative and predictive maintenance activities.
WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING:
-Ensures daily maintenance and repair activities are tracked/logged and performed safely in a timely manner and closed out effectively.
-Interfaces with operators and engineers to understand and find “root cause” of equipment problems and hazards in need of service, repair and/or replacement of components, communicates those options/suggestions and proposes fixes and improvement ideas to pertinent technical staff.
-Repairs, maintains, and installs mechanical systems and equipment such as pumps, piping, valves and associated systems.
-Participates in new installations and modifications to existing equipment.
-Must be able to identify and specify materials and procedures required for repair and/or rebuilding of manufacturing equipment.
-Facility/building maintenance; may require some tasks in carpentry, electrical, heating, ventilation, HVAC, plumbing, welding and mechanical.
WHAT WE’RE LOOKING FOR:
-Minimum of two (2) years' experience in industrial electro/mechanical maintenance.
-Understanding of industry standard safety practices such as: LOTO, PPE, permitting, hot work, equipment line break, fall protection, safe work, accident prevention, etc.
-Ability to machine/repair parts using a milling machine, lathe, surface grinder, drill press, etc.
-Able to fabricate fixtures, stands, covers, and assemblies from provided drawings.
-Must be able to read, follow and identify components depicted on schematics and engineered drawings.
-Must have experience with aerial lift platforms.
-Must pass an onsite aptitude demonstration.
OTHER QUALITIES WE’D LOVE FOR YOU TO HAVE:
-Working knowledge of Parker, Allen Bradley, and Siemens AC variable frequency drives, PLCs and associated protocols.
-Ability to weld Inconel and other high temperature metals.
-Millwrights, Boilermakers, Pipefitters, and other mechanical trades.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
-Ability to stand for a minimum of two hours without assistance.
-Ability to lift 50 lbs.
-Ability to wear a full-face respirator for 30-60 minute periods.
-Must be able to operate aerial lift platforms to work at heights up to 26 feet on a limited basis, 14 feet on average when needed.

The base hourly range for this role is $32/hour to $40/hour. Actual pay depends on various factors, such as complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. al salaries will vary based on factors such as a candidate’s qualifications, experience, skills, and competencies.
