The Project Manager is responsible for development, from programming and design to construction, turnover and occupancy of Capital Construction Projects / Programs. The Project Manager will interface with all external entities and internal institutional client groups and stakeholders and must have experience in performing work in an occupied or public facility. Please specify if you have Healthcare or Higher Ed experience.
As the Project Manager, it is essential that you possess strong communication and team building skills along with reporting, management, and proven leadership capabilities. You must have the ability to work independently, collaboratively, with full transparency, as required by the client/project. In addition, you would be required to coordinate all aspects of projects with the various stakeholders in order to ensure their successful completion within the established quality, budget, time, operational and safety parameters.
Your other responsibilities will include leading construction meetings, reporting on enabling and relocations projects, leading project team meetings with CLIENT in-house personnel to coordinate the construction with other institutional initiatives, tracking procurement efforts, and assisting with departmental moves into new spaces. In this role, you will also participate in cost control activities by seeking alternative designs, reviewing documents for compliance with CLIENT standards and site conditions, and maintaining interface with users and internal business units.
