Under the direction of the General Manager and in coordination with Regional Operations Managers, the Safety Manager leads all safety and regulatory compliance activity for Group Petroleum Services, Inc. The core focus will be to support Regional Operations Managers and Drivers in pursuing excellence in safety. The goals of the role include reducing the frequency and severity of driver errors and improving bottom line income through improvements in safety performance.

General Responsibilities:
Qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required. Must have 3 years’ experience in transportation safety (preferably in the fuel transportation industry). Must have recent and verifiable experience with all the above duties, possess strong skills in MS Office Suite, professional communication skills (oral, written, and presentation), and able to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment. Must be available to travel up to 30%.
