Community Outreach Specialist

BronxDocs is currently seeking a full-time Business Development Specialist. This person will have the opportunity to join a dynamic Healthcare organization with multispecialty medical centers throughout Bronx, NY (we currently have 5 medical centers with approximately 100 employees). In this role, this person will focus on local business development.

Responsibilities:

• Perform strategic community outreach and relationship building.
• Responsible for patient growth in Medicaid, Medicare, and commercial markets for multi-specialty and primary care clinics in The Bronx.
• Perform community outreach to source relationships conducive towards increasing patient population.
• Cultivate relationships to expand strategic partnerships with school districts, universities, and community organizations.
• Attend community and partnered events with community-based organizations, health insurance companies, social programs, and other healthcare organizations.
• Perform all other duties as required.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma
• At least two (2) years of experience in Marketing or Business Development
• Microsoft Office fluency (EPIC and eCW a plus).
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, writing, and public speaking skills.
• Attention to detail, establishing priorities, and scheduling.
• Ability to work both independently and as part of a team, take initiative, and complete tasks to meet deadlines.

Pay: Starting at $50,000/year depending on experience
