Job Summary

Position Title: Outreach Specialist

Job Summary: Outreach Specialist support staff are responsible for overseeing several clients at a time, ensuring information is accurate, preparing and maintaining case files, and keeping detailed records of available community resources.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities include:

• File management
• Verifying individuals' information
• Ensuring referral information is accurate
• Communicating with treatment or counseling programs
• Interviewing new clients
• Developing assistance plans in conjunction with case workers
• Reviewing client progress
• Evaluating the effectiveness of treatment plans in conjunction with supervising case or social workers
• Researching newly available treatment options

Qualifications

Job Requirements:

• 2-years’ experience in the Medical field
• Associates degree required
• Bi-lingual Spanish strongly preferred
• Strong writing skills, computer literacy, including word processing, web applications, and email
• Must type at least 30-40 words per minute – accurately
