Job Duties
Oversee the installation of design/build landscape projects
Ensure that the help is available to complete the projects.
Ensure that customer concerns are addressed in a timely manner
Things not looking right, needing adjustment
Inspect job sites daily
Coordinate with sales for pre project reviews, hand offs and questions
Assist crews with initial layout, troubleshooting and best installation practices
Submit change orders in a timely manner following proper channels
Approve employee time off as needed - Ensure we have proper coverage for our crews
Ensure that employee concerns are handled promptly
Maintain the project schedule and communicate changes with sales
Take into account rain days, material delays, and personnel issues to make sure that we keep making progress on our jobs.
Order materials and track them to the jobs
Prepare work orders for the crews the day ahead - Mondays should be done on Friday.
Line up items that they need to load the night before so that closing manager can ensure they are loaded
Be sure that items are tracked in and out of the shop for proper job costing
Determine appropriate action when disciplinary actions are needed
Involve more managers when necessary
Perform annual reviews with employees
Line up training opportunities for crews
Give feedback to crews on the work that is completed
Ensure that crew inventories are managed correctly
Equipment being kept clean and trailers organized
Line up repairs to be completed with shop
Get extra equipment from storage as needed - Make sure they are swapped back once repaired
Coordinate with other managers if other vehicles will be needed for the day rather than your regular set up
Perform regular checks on customers properties to make sure that quality standards are being met
Check that regular maintenance is being performed on equipment when fueling (Greasing)
Turn in receipts with costing information for jobs
Monitor job hours and material usage to stay in budget
Interview potential employees and assist in onboarding process
Snow removal in Winter months

Saturdays as needed
Hours will be 7:00am to 4:30pm daily, plus one night closing the shop
Later hours as needed to make sure that crews remain on schedule

Qualifications
Five (5) years landscape installation experience (Preferred)
Experience leading diverse crews
Experience in Project Management Role
Valid Driver's License (Required)
Desire to be a key member of a growing team
ICPI & MCMA certified (Preferred)
Bilingual is a plus, but not a requirement
