POSITION SUMMARY

Grinnell College is currently seeking an energetic, motivated, and well-organized Administrative Assistant I to become part of the team which provides strategic and tactical leadership for the alumni and donor programs, events, volunteers, and communications. These areas complement and support the mission of the College and the Office of Development and Alumni Relations (DAR).

This role is a 30 hour per week, full-time benefit eligible position in the B3 Career Level.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide support for DAR events including creation and management of data records.

* Coordination of mailed and electronic invitations.

* Development and organization of materials to execute programs.

* Primary phone receptionist and information resource for alumni, parents, and friends of Grinnell College

* Manage, create, and produce alumni and donor relations general correspondence including celebratory cards.

* Coordinate inaugural volunteers' process with the President's Office and development team.
