**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a dedicated Behavior Technician to join our team. As a Behavior Technician, you will work with individuals, particularly those with autism, to implement behavior plans and provide support in various settings.
**Duties:**
- Implement behavior plans designed by Board Certified Behavior Analysts (BCBAs)
- Provide direct 1:1 therapy using principles of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA)
- Document client progress and behavior data accurately
- Assist individuals with activities of daily living (ADLs) as needed
- Collaborate with families and caregivers to ensure consistency in treatment goals
- Utilize behavioral strategies to manage challenging behaviors effectively
**Requirements:**
- Experience working with individuals with special needs, particularly autism
- Knowledge of behavioral health principles and techniques
- Ability to follow care plans and behavioral intervention strategies
- Proficiency in medical documentation and maintaining accurate records
- Familiarity with behavioral therapy practices and techniques
- Strong interpersonal skills for working with individuals and their families
- Understanding of behavior management techniques and strategies
Nice-to-have Skills:
- Experience working in special education or related fields
- Familiarity with medical records and documentation procedures
- Knowledge of inhalation techniques for medication administration
Shift hours: [6:00am – 2:00pm] [2:00pm - 10:00pm] [10:00pm - 6:00am]
40 hours a week including weekends. Mon-Sun.
