• 84 months of experience with J2EE technologies including EJB, JDBC, JSP and XML.
• 84 months of experience with Java programming in an IBM development environment using IDE of IBM's Rational Application Developer (RAD) that are deployed to Websphere Application Server (WAS)
• 84 months of IBM DB2 experience working with DB2 databases and experience with XML schemas (definition, querying and automated generation).
• 60 months of experience in performance tuning applications interacting with databases.
• 60 months of experience in IBM MQSeries
• 60 months of experience with an organization which includes technical design, development, maintenance, and end user support of complex system
• 84 months of experience in system analysis and design experience for multi-tiered transactional systems and writing technical design specification documents for multifaceted component-based systems

Detailed Description: This position will be in support of the NYS Tax Modernization Program. This program will encompass multiple projects to modernize legacy systems within the NYS Department of Taxation and Finance, which is responsible for billions in state revenue. Some of the major areas under modernization include: Collections and Accounts Receivable Taxpayer Accounting Withholding Tax Returns Processing The position requires an expert level candidate to develop programs and functionality for the various tax systems being modernized.
