Maimonides Health Center in Virginia Beach, VA is seeking an experienced Admissions Director to join our long-term care team!
Qualifications:
- Must have Associates Degree in Business Administration or related field.
- At least 1 year experience in long-term care/skilled nursing setting
- Must be proficient in Microsoft Office, good organizational skills, and communication skills.
Responsibilities consist of but are not limited to :
- Enter referral information into a database.
- Compile admission packets.
- Verify insurance of new admissions.
- Ensure paperwork for new admissions is complete before forwarding to the business office. Follow through with responsible party and/or family members to obtain missing documentation.
- Prior to new admissions, ensure room is in move-in conditions. If needed, contact appropriate department head for follow-up..
- Periodically update business file of long term residents to ensure information is current (insurance cards, name of responsible party, etc.).
- To perform other duties as requesting by the Regional Admissions Director or Administrator.
