Position Overview:
The Legacy Companies is looking for an Order Picker who will be playing an instrumental role in the manufacturing operations success. The Order Picker will work in a warehouse to gather the appropriate items to fulfill incoming order and prepares the items for shipping.
Job Responsibilities:
- Accurately pick products according to order, either manually or with electronic scanning devices.
- Unload containers.
- Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to the packer.
- Lifts, stacks, and arranges product on a pallet in preparation for shipment.
- Knowledge of barcoding, scanning, labels, etc.
- Perform stock rotation of product.
- Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures.
- Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.
- Any other duties assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
- High School Diploma or equivalent.
- Attention to detail.
- Experience in a distribution/warehouse environment or equivalent work experience.
- Ability to quickly learn and carry out processes.
- Good organizational and time management skills.
- Good communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and safe.
- Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
