Position Overview: 

The Legacy Companies is looking for a Picker/Packer that will be responsible for gathering the appropriate items to fulfill incoming orders, packaging goods into their correct containers and preparing them for shipment.

Job Responsibilities:

• Uses handheld scanner device (RF) to verify merchandise counts and update merchandise locations
• Knowledge of barcoding, scanning, labels, etc.
• Inspect to ensure products are damage free, weigh, and package products.
• Wraps and safely secures pallets prior to transport. Clearly labels pallets with required information.
• Follow all company guidelines regarding packaging.
• Move completed packages for loading.
• Maintain the warehouse in an orderly and clean state; follow all Company safety procedures.
• Any other duties assigned.
• Accurately pick products according to order, either manually or with electronic scanning devices.
• Ensuring correct shipping information is attached and moving completed orders to shipping area.
• Lifts, stacks, and arranges product on a pallet in preparation for shipment.
• Prepare daily lists of receiving and shipping instructions.
• Knowledge of barcoding, scanning, labels, etc.
• Perform stock rotation of product.
• Re-stock returns.
• Performs other duties as assigned, including working in other departments as needed.

Minimum Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent. 
• Attention to detail.
• Experience in a distribution/warehouse environment or equivalent work experience.
• Ability to quickly learn and carry out processes.
• Good organizational and time management skills.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and safe.
• Ability to work on feet for 8 hours and able to lift up to 50 pounds.
