Greenberg Traurig (GT), a global law firm, has an exciting full-time employment opportunity for an Associate for the Healthcare Department in its Denver office. Our Denver practice represents healthcare providers and organizations, along with private equity firms and strategic buyers. We oversee the acquisition and operation of such provider entities, on various corporate, transactional, compliance, litigation, and regulatory issues, with a particular focus on federal and state health care fraud, abuse, and self-referral laws; corporate practice and fee-splitting prohibitions; licensure and certification of health care facilities; Medicare and Medicaid program participation requirements; health information privacy and security issues; and planning, structuring and executing health care transactions and business arrangements.

The ideal candidate will have 4 to 6 years of significant experience representing hospitals, physician groups, surgery centers, behavioral health organizations, ancillary service providers and other investors in the healthcare industry with state and federal regulatory compliance, licensure, change of ownership, reimbursement, and operational matters. Experience advising on the regulatory aspects of transactional matters in the health care industry such as mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and contractual agreements is a plus. 

Candidates should possess strong attention to detail, excellent writing capabilities, and a willingness to work in a fast-paced environment. Must be admitted, or be eligible for admission, to the Colorado Bar.

The annualized salary range for this position is $200,000 to $210,000. Actual pay will be adjusted based on experience and other job-related factors permitted by law. Full time employees may be eligible for a discretionary bonus, health insurance with an optional HSA, short term disability, long term disability, dental insurance, vision care, life insurance, Healthcare and Dependent Care Flexible Spending Accounts, 401K, vacation, sick time, and an employee assistance program.
