Instructor(s) for the up to 250-hour Introduction to HVAC training for unemployed / underemployed adults to prepare them for entry level positions in the HVAC industry. Position may be shared by 2 teachers. Training will include HVAC theory and hands-on practice with a focus on heat pumps. To be taught in person, with 2 hours of monitored asynchronous online learning per week. Class will include OSHA 10 and EPA 608 certifications.Salary:$70/hr. for up to 250 hours of instruction $50/hr. for prep time. One hour of prep for each full day class period. Training will start June 24th with anticipated graduation mid-August 2024. The training schedule will be Monday through Thursday 8 am until 4 p.m with up to 2 hrs. of online learning per week—final training schedule to be determined with instructors.
