Instructor will provide up to 270 hours of vocational instruction for the Advanced Manufacturing CNC Machining Training. To be taught in person with 4 hours of online asynchronous work each week. Training will cover the topics and follow the schedule found in the GLTS Advanced Manufacturing curriculum outline submitted to the Northeast Advanced Manufacturing Consortium in winter 2024. Main topics will include: metrology & inspection; blueprint reading, Solid Works, GDT; Master Cam; manual and CNC machining; job seeking skills; Tooling U prep for MACWIC certification. Schedule will include 10 hr. OSHA safety and 20 hours of math – both to be contracted to other teachers. Salary:$70/hr. for up to 270 hours of instruction $50/hr. for up to 1 hour of prep time for each 8-hour class. Training start date June 24th. Training schedule will be 8am – 4 pm Mon. – Thurs. each week, plus 4 hours asynchronous online each week. Anticipated completion date is August 15th,2024.
