Greater Gallatin United Way is Hiring a Community Outreach Coordinator Near Bozeman, MT
Come make a difference with a thriving nonprofit. At Greater Gallatin United Way (GGUW) you are working to promote programs that make a difference for families in our community. As Community Outreach Coordinator you are responsible for seeking opportunities to promote our programs and generate awareness for GGUW.
- Develop and implement outreach strategies to promote the organization's programs and services
- Conduct market research to identify target populations and develop targeted outreach plans
- Coordinate and attend community events, workshops, and conferences to increase awareness of the organization
- Collaborate with internal teams to create and distribute promotional materials, including social media posts, brochures, and newsletters
- Assist in program development by identifying community needs and recommending new initiatives
- Supervise outreach staff and volunteers, providing guidance and support as needed
```Qualifications```
- Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., social work, public health, communications) or equivalent experience
- Strong program development skills with the ability to identify community needs and develop effective strategies
- Excellent supervisory skills with the ability to lead a team of outreach staff and volunteers
- Knowledge of addiction counseling principles and resources is preferred
- Proficient in data collection and analysis for reporting purposes
- Strong written and verbal communication skills for effective outreach efforts
- Ability to multitask, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment
- Experience in fundraising or grant writing is a plus
