Growing pain management practice is looking for full-time Medical Assistants to join our team. This key position assists in all facets of our patient experience, from front office support to back office tasks including obtaining patient records and test results, coordinating daily administrative tasks, preparing treatment rooms for examinations, and assisting our practitioners during medical procedures. This position is full time, clinic hours are M-F 8am-5pm.
Responsibilities:
Accompany patients to exam/procedure rooms and assist with walking, transfers, dressing, collecting specimens, preparing for exam/procedure.
Collect patient vitals, medical history and perform screenings per provider instructions
Assist clinical staff with procedures
Provides information/instructions to patients and their families
Phone call triage
Patient scheduling and chart preparation
Send/receive patient medical records and information
Obtain lab/x-ray reports, hospital notes, and referral information
Complete forms and requisitions as needed as well as manage patient charts to ensure information is complete
Respond appropriately to emergency codes
Supply management
Help maintain office organization and cleanliness
Other duties as assigned
