We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accounts Payable Manager to oversee our accounts payable department. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing the entire accounts payable process, ensuring accurate and timely payment of invoices, and maintaining strong vendor relationships. This position plays a crucial role in the financial operations of our mid-sized company and requires a high level of accuracy and attention to detail.

Key Responsibilities:

• Invoice Processing: Oversee the processing of invoices, ensuring accuracy, proper authorization, and timely payments.
• Vendor Management: Maintain strong relationships with vendors, resolve any invoice discrepancies, and negotiate payment terms when necessary.
• Team Leadership: Manage and mentor the accounts payable team, providing guidance and support to ensure efficiency and accuracy in their work.
• Payment Processing: Ensure that all payments are processed in accordance with company policies and procedures, and that they are recorded accurately in the accounting system.
• Reconciliation: Perform monthly reconciliations of accounts payable ledgers to ensure accuracy and completeness of financial records.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with internal controls, policies, and procedures in the accounts payable process.
• Reporting: Prepare and provide regular reports on accounts payable metrics, including aging reports, cash flow forecasts, and vendor analysis.
• Process Improvement: Continuously review and improve accounts payable processes and systems to increase efficiency and accuracy.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
• A minimum of 5 years of experience in accounts payable, with at least 2 years in a supervisory or managerial role.
• Strong knowledge of accounting principles and accounts payable processes.
• Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Strong leadership and team management skills.
• Ability to communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
• Ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines.

This is a full-time position located in our corporate office. The role may require occasional overtime during peak periods.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $40,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
