Great Lakes Mgmt is Hiring a Maintenance Technician - Floating Near Minneapolis, MN
Great Lakes Management is looking for a full-time Floating Maintenance Technician! This position provides maintenance services in Anoka County, Hennepin County, and Scott County. 40 hours per week, flexible hours, generally 8am to 4:30pm. This role will be required to travel to multiple GLM locations to provide Maintenance support as needed.

Maintenance Technician Responsibilities:
Assist in maintaining all mechanical equipment, emergency systems, building fixtures and groundwork as needed.
Complete all work orders quickly and efficiently.
Report any problems/deficiencies to the Director of Maintenance
Knowledgeable of building codes and regulatory compliance issues.
Interacts positively with all team members in maintaining census by immediately completing apartment turns
Maintain the grounds, trash, sweep, dumpster areas, snowplow, etc.
Test the resident security systems as required.
Assist with custodial duties which include but not limited to, trash removal, carpet cleaning, etc.
Perform any maintenance task necessary as directed.
Maintenance Technician Qualifications:
Minimum of one year of maintenance experience required.
Boiler License preferred, but not required.
Skills in mechanical, electrical, plumbing, appliances, doors & windows.
Ability to motivate oneself and work independently.
Current, valid driver’s license.
Schedule:
Work includes two days per week at Broadway Court Apartments in Robbinsdale, MN, and three days per week as a floating Maintenance Technician across Anoka, Scott, Hennepin, and various other counties.
This position participates in an on-call rotation at Broadway Court and four sites in Anoka county - two weeks on, two weeks off.
