YOUR LIFE AS AN ORTHODONTIC RECEPTIONIST / DENTAL ASSISTANT

As an Orthodontic Receptionist / Dental Assistant, you provide support services to our patients and our practice including personal assistance, medical attention, and emotional support. You escort patients to workstations and answer any general questions they may have. As needed, you forward patient questions or concerns to orthodontists when necessary. You help sterilize and position instruments for orthodontists as well as provide these instruments and materials to orthodontists during exams and procedures. While working, you ensure that you are always maintaining hazard control protocols established by OSHA and our office standards.

Additional duties may include assisting in scheduling patients for procedures, social media, and some marketing. You also help prepare and present patient or production statistics and reports. You feel good about keeping the clinical operations of our practice efficient and seamless!

ORTHODONTIC RECEPTIONIST / DENTAL ASSISTANT WORK SCHEDULE

The office is open Monday - Friday, rotating between locations. Individual schedule may vary.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• High school diploma or GED equivalent
• X-ray and CPR certified
• Ability to maintain the highest level of confidentiality and adhere to strict safety guidelines
• Ability to work around saliva, blood, and unpleasant smells
• Ability to travel, by car or plane, in order to participate in continuing education or seminars

One year of dental practice experience is preferred, but not required. Also, a diploma or certificate from an approved dental assisting program is a plus.
