Position: Production Assembly Technician

Reports to: Foreman / Superintendent
Department: Operations

Job Summary

This task consists of assembling various metal structures in a shop setting. This is a Monday thru Friday 1st shift that is set for an 8 hour shift beginning at 7A.M. Employee must be flexible concerning daily hours that will be determined by the clients needs and the ability of the staff to produce a fixed amount of product each day. Pay is based on experience with production and quality incentive available. Each applicant will be required to pass a drug screen prior to employment. Graywolf is an equal opportunity employer.

Job Responsibilities

• Employee should be able to read and understand English and be able to read tape measures and other measuring devices while transferring that information onto the project. Some understanding of navigating computers and e-mails is also required with training in more advanced programs being provided.
• Employee should be able to lift 50lbs, climb ladders, push, pull and squat while performing various task.
• Employee should have a general mechanical aptitude and be able to assemble small mechanical objects using both hand and electric small tools for tightening fasteners and cutting metal.
• Employee must be capable of operating or willing to be trained on small mobile equipment such as forklift to be operated in a shop environment.

Job Qualifications

• 1-3 years proven experience.
• Experience using modern tools and equipment.
• Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical certificate preferred.
• High School Diploma / GED
