Position: Industrial Construction Safety TechnicianReports to: Safety Manager / Project ManagerDepartment: OperationsStatus: Regular Full-time; Non-exemptProject Location: Project Duration: Job Summary Responsible for development of business unit safety teams, audit programs and safety engagement opportunities Work directly with Safety/HR/Operations to update and maintain safety databasesJob Responsibilities Maintain knowledge/expertise on existing/proposed changes in radiation safety regulations Will serve as the first point of contact for the safety program Responsible for partnering with the business units to develop safety strategy Works with shift safety team resource to ensure coverage Work to develop safety leadership throughout the organization - will be the resource and not necessarily the "doer" Conducts work site surveys and daily facility inspections to ensure facility and procedural compliance with applicable regulations Responsible for the maintenance and updating of all required reports and records applicable to the training, safety, use and storage of hazardous waste materials and programs Conducts routine inspection of all waste storage areas to ensure compliance with storage requirements and regulationsJob Qualifications 5-10 years proven experience as a Safety Technician Degreed application from an accredited 2- or 4-year school (not required, but based on experience) OSHA 30 / Basic Plus / TWIC Completion of an apprenticeship program or technical certificate preferred High School Diploma / GEDGraywolf Integrated Construction Company is an equal opportunity employer.
