Position Summary:
Bistro B-Side Host plays a vital role in the guest experience. The Bistro B-Side Host will have shifts in either or both the B-Side Lounge and Bistro 101. The Host is one of the most essential roles at B-Side Lounge and Bistro 101. As the first impression, they set the mood for the guest's entire experience. The Host is responsible for greeting and seating guests in a friendly, courteous, and professional manner. This position manages the flow of reservations to maximum guest experience.

Essential Functions:
1. Responsible for redefining hospitality at Graton Resort & Casino while living, supporting, and promoting our values.
2. Greet guests at the entrance verbally with a warm welcome.
3. Create a friendly and fun atmosphere for guests.
4. Develop friendly relationship with guests to encourage regular visits and repeat business.
5. Portray a positive and professional attitude.
6. Anticipate and accommodate all guest needs.
7. Be consistent and follow all steps of service for Bistro.
8. Seat parties evenly throughout open stations, or place parties on a waiting list.
9. Answer telephone within three rings following specific B-Side and Bistro 101 scripts and guidelines and make reservations using Open Table System.
10. Update table status using the Open Table system.
11. Keep store front clean and stocked.
12. Communicate guest opportunities to management.
13. Perform all pre- and post-side work, including cleaning all menus.
14. Other duties as assigned.

Required Qualifications:
1. Ability to communicate effectively with Guests, Team Members and Management in both written and verbal form.
2. Must be at least 18 years of age.
3. Must fulfil uniform requirements and specifications.
4. Must have or be able to obtain a California Food Handlers Certification.
5. Must be able to obtain a gaming license from the Graton Gaming Commission.
6. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
7. Ability to handle a flexible work schedule, work weekends, holidays, and all shifts.

Physical Requirements:
1. Requires manual dexterity to operate job related equipment.
2. Ability to stand for long periods of time.

Work Conditions:
Work is typically in an area, which may be unusually hot, cold, noisy, and may contain secondhand smoke. Work may be performed in small areas with a 3 ft. wide access. Tasks performed from a sitting or non‐ sitting position. Performance of job duties will require standing, walking, lifting, reaching, pushing, pulling and grasping. These tasks include the maintenance and care of your assigned area. Work may entail trained chemical usage. Constant contact with fellow Team Members and Guests.
