Grant Leading Technology is seeking a self-motivated Intermediate Interior Designer candidate to join our dynamic team. The candidate will assist in requirements gathering, space planning, furniture and finishes of the interiors of commercial buildings. The successful candidate will work with clients to ensure deliverables fall within the applicable scope. He or she will coordinate with other departments to ensure all aspects of each project are compatible. 20% onsite time is REQUIRED
Responsibilities:
Review Design Intent Drawings (DIDs) and Construction drawings (CDs)
Develop concept plans and test-fits for medium to large renovations in commercial spaces utilizing AutoCAD
Develop 35% Design Intent Drawings (DIDs)
Apply ADA/ABAA standards to test fits
Lead space planning requirements gathering to determine clients’ needs
Provide space planning deliverables, such as concept plans, test-fits, and furniture and finish selections.
Participate in space planning design projects
Conduct site surveys, walk-throughs, and furniture punch list
Research concepts and materials to support design team on concept development
Work within timely schedules to coordinate the completion of tasks through to final project completion
Maintain client, vendor, and consultant relationships
Prepare deliverables for client presentation
Local travel to perform site survey including building and furniture survey (around 20%)
Overnight travel required (around 10%)
