```Duties```
As a Billing Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely billing for medical services. Your attention to detail and knowledge of medical coding and billing procedures will be essential in this role.

- Review and verify patient information for accuracy
- Process claims for insurance reimbursement
- Utilize medical coding systems such as ICD-9 and ICD-10 to assign appropriate codes to procedures and diagnoses
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of medical coding guidelines and regulations
- Collaborate with healthcare providers to resolve any billing discrepancies or issues
- Prepare and submit invoices to insurance companies or patients
- Follow up on unpaid claims and denials
- Maintain patient records and ensure confidentiality of sensitive information
