The Furnace Supervisor is responsible for assigning cast and secondary resources based on published schedules and priorities.
Is responsible for overall conformance to all processes including die casting, secondary, and metal standards. Monitors and continuously works to improve daily production outputs in accordance to targeted efficiencies.
Leads, motivates and trains a team of Supervisors and production Associates, promoting quality and safety standards. Works to continuously improve all outputs related to die casting and secondary production.
Ensures the health and safety of all Associates.

Possess good physical stamina and coordination. Specific physical requirements of the position include the ability to continuously and repetitively : o Walk and stand for prolonged periods of time.
o Read standardized work instructions, operate machines and tools, and perform quality inspections. o Promptly detect and respond to visual and auditory safety instructions, alarms, and signals.
o Wear personal protective equipment, for example : safety glasses, gloves, hats, ear plugs, and steel-toed safety shoes.
o Work in a loud manufacturing environment that is not climate controlled (conditions can be hot or cold). o Ability to see clearly at close and distance ranges, distinguish colors, maintain peripheral vision, perceive depth, and adjust focus as necessary.
Frequently and repetitively : o Lift or carry materials weighing up to 20 pounds and periodically care or lift materials weighing up to 50lbs.
o Bend to perform work. o Use hand positioning to grip / grasp parts and a wide range of power and vibrating tools or other equipment.
