The Accounting Clerk will perform crucial job duties that ensure invoices are processed correctly and closed on time to receive payment. This person will review and process invoices and payments. The accounting clerk will need to have excellent organization and time management skills as well as the ability to effectively multi-task. This position will require basic knowledge of general ledger and accounting procedures, good communication skills, and the ability to self-start, work independently, and meet deadlines. As well, this person must be able to sit for long periods of time and stand and/or stand and bend for short periods of time.

Job Duties included:

• Responsible for accounting work that is needed to make sure invoices are processed in an efficient and timely manner.
• Review and audit invoices daily, request verification from customer service manager if needed.
• Resolve invoice discrepancies.
• Investigate and resolve issues that are associated with the processing of invoices.
• Help with monthly closings and status reports.
• Confirm delivery of invoice to customer and send if not received.
• Perform other duties that are needed to support the accounting department.
• Perform other general accounting projects and tasks as assigned.
• Protect organization’s value by keeping information confidential.
