Responsibilities:
- Provide direct and individualized nursing care to patients based on the application of scientific nursing principles
- Assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care plans
- Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by the physician
- Monitor, record, and report symptoms or changes in patients' conditions
-Notify a doctor for a patient’s condition when deemed necessary
- Collaborate with physicians and multidisciplinary healthcare team members to provide comprehensive care
- Educate patients and their families on proper healthcare procedures and self-care techniques
- Ensure compliance with infection control policies and procedures
- Maintain accurate and complete medical records
-Making frequent visits to the patient to evaluate their condition
-Providing support and comfort according to individual patient’s needs
-Alleviate sudden symptoms of the disease’s end phase
Qualifications:
- Valid Registered Nurse (RN) license in the state of practice
- Proven experience as a registered nurse in a clinical setting including hospice care
- Excellent knowledge of Hospice nursing care methods and procedures
- Familiarity with pain management techniques and medication administration protocols
- Proficient in medical terminology and diagnostic evaluation processes
- Strong understanding of infection control practices and protocols
- Ability to provide primary care to patients across the lifespan, including infant care
- Experience with catheter care and inhalation therapy is preferred
- Strong critical thinking and problem-solving skills
