Grace Health is Hiring a Medical assistant Near Battle Creek, MI
$19.60 (per experience) Grace Health is searching for Certified Telephone Medical Assistant to join our team! We offer competitive wages based on experience and up to 3 weeks of PTO in the first year! M-F 8-5pm and holidays off!
Please note, the Flu vaccine is a minimum work requirement at Grace Health.

EXAMPLES OF DUTIES : (This list is not all inclusive.)
1.Takes incoming calls from patients related to provider plan of care, lab and diagnostic testing results, medical questions etc.
2. Helps with completion of MA tasks.
3.Provides explanation of lab results, diagnostic testing results and provider orders to patient / family
4.Advises patients about healthcare options per provider recommendation.
5.Maintains a log of all calls.
6.Documents details of messages and / or education given to patients.
8. Identifies patients who need referrals to other community agencies.
9. Processes incoming calls to the MA line.

REQUIREMENTS
- Flu vaccine
- High school diploma or GED. Graduation from an accredited medical assisting program preferred
- Two year of work experience in a medical office setting.
