Our Facility Associate at Grace has strong attention to detail, great relational skills, and thrives on being able to clean, problem solve, and work with their hands. They keep our campuses running by setting up and tearing down events, sanitizing and cleaning, and help with facility maintenance around our three locations.

Work Schedule:

• Sunday's from 7:30 AM - 4:00 PM; Ministry Special Events

Responsibilities/Duties:

• Adhere to established procedures to provide a safe working environment including complying with defined, state/local, federal regulations
• Carefully follow instructions regarding the use of chemicals and supplies
• Perform routine and comprehensive custodial duties
• Maintains a clean and orderly environment
• Properly cleans assigned areas
• Frequently removes dust and debris from high and low surfaces
• Cleans all floor surface types
• Follows procedures for storage and disposal of trash and transports it to designated areas
• Report and respond to emergency calls for custodial assistance
• Use and maintain assigned power equipment and hand tools
• Assist in securing buildings when facilities are not in use
• Attend safety meetings and other facility-related meetings as required
• Assist the Facility Team with keeping exterior campuses free of trash and debris
• Assist with inventory control and tool accountability
• Assist with necessary setups and teardowns for events, including chair stacking and/or furniture placement
• Proactively identifies facility maintenance issues and submits necessary work orders
• Complete any required documentation
• Perform other related duties as requested by their supervisor and/or Facility Director, which may include outside seasonal work, i.e. snow removal or light groundskeeping

Skills/Experience:

• Good organizational skills
• Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy
• Great relational skills: full of faith, friendly, calm, and professional
• Ability to lift up to 40lbs on a consistent basis
• Ability to work on feet for a prolonged period of time
• Ability to move without assistance
• Basic knowledge of computers for access to necessary software tools
