Are you an experienced accounting professional with a passion for precision and excellence? Grace Auto is seeking a dedicated Office Manager/Accountant to manage and execute key financial processes supporting our growing dealership.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Financial Statement Preparation: Compile, analyze, and prepare financial statements with accuracy and efficiency.
  • Asset/Inventory Management: Reconcile bank accounts, conduct physical inventories, and manage assets with detailed record-keeping.
  • Accounts Receivable & Payable: Efficiently manage accounts receivable and payable to ensure smooth financial operations.
  • Vehicle Sales Transaction Accounting: Process vehicle sales transactions, including deal capping, contracts-in-transit, title & licensing, and maintain accurate records.
  • Tax Compliance: Ensure accurate and timely payment of state and federal taxes according to legal requirements.
  • Payroll & Benefits Administration: Prepare payroll and administer employee benefits while adhering to all applicable laws.
  • Cross-Training Coordination: Facilitate cross-training among accounting staff for better coverage and adaptability.
  • GAAP Compliance: Ensure all accounting tasks align with Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
  • Legal Compliance: Uphold federal, state, and local laws, including privacy and record-keeping regulations.
  • Human Resources (HR) Assistance: Support General Managers with HR administration and staff management.

Miscellaneous Duties: Take on other tasks as required by management.

Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in accounting and financial management, preferably in the automotive industry.
  • Strong organizational skills with a meticulous attention to detail.
  • Comprehensive understanding of GAAP and legal compliance requirements.
  • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Effective communication and leadership skills.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $55,000.00 - $70,000.00 per hour
