Job Title: Senior Project Manager - Underground Utilities, Grading, Excavation

Job Description:
We are currently seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Project Manager with expertise in underground utilities, grading, and excavation work to join our team. The Senior Project Manager will play a pivotal role in overseeing and managing all aspects of projects in these areas. If you have a minimum of 10 years of experience, the ability to conduct take-offs, and a proven track record of leadership and mentorship, we encourage you to apply.
Responsibilities:
Project Management: Lead and manage all phases of projects related to underground utilities, grading, and excavation, ensuring projects are completed safely, on time, and within budget.
Team Leadership: Provide leadership and guidance to project teams, including estimators and project managers, fostering a collaborative and high-performing work environment.
Take-offs: Perform accurate and detailed take-offs for project bids and estimates, utilizing your expertise to ensure the accuracy and completeness of estimates.
Client Relations: Cultivate and maintain positive relationships with clients, ensuring their needs and expectations are met or exceeded throughout the project lifecycle.
Resource Allocation: Coordinate with internal teams, subcontractors, and suppliers to allocate resources effectively and efficiently, optimizing project performance and profitability.
Budget Management: Manage project budgets, monitoring costs and expenditures to ensure projects remain within budgetary constraints.
Quality Control: Implement and enforce quality control measures to ensure that work meets or exceeds project specifications and industry standards.
Risk Management: Identify and mitigate project risks, proactively addressing potential issues to minimize disruptions and delays.
Safety Compliance: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and company policies to maintain a safe working environment for all personnel.
Mentorship: Provide mentorship and guidance to junior estimators and project managers, sharing your knowledge and experience to support their professional development and growth.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or related field (preferred).
Minimum of 10 years of experience in project management, with a focus on underground utilities, grading, and excavation work.
Proven ability to perform accurate take-offs and estimates for complex construction projects.
Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to effectively lead and motivate project teams.
Knowledge of construction methods, materials, and equipment related to underground utilities, grading, and excavation.
Proficiency in project management software and Microsoft Office Suite.
