Logistics Sales Executive
We are looking to expand our team with a talented and self-motivated individual. This is a remote position. If you have at least 5 years of experience in the industry and a Transferable Book of Business, we want to hear from you!!!!!
JOB DUTIES:
- Obtaining shipping quotes from carriers and passing them on to clients
- Booking freight service through carriers for clients
- Monitoring the progress of shipments to ensure that goods arrive promptly and undamaged.
- Updating customer management software to keep client records accurate.
- Well-honed negotiating skills to get the best possible quotes for customers.
- Will not over see a team. 5 Years of Freight Brokerage Experience: Direct Expedite with LTL is a Must!!!
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS:
- Familiarity with logistics software, customer relationship management software and spreadsheets
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to work with carriers and clients located around the world.
- Proven sales skills to obtain new clients and carriers and close shipping deals. Work with Current Book of Business.
