Job Description North American Roofing is a commercial roofing contractor in the United States. We are searching for a Commercial Roofing Project Manager located in the Southeastern United States to join our Service team.
Purpose of the job: The Project Manager is the primary company representative responsible for the overall final design, implementation, direction, completion, and financial outcome of major building envelope related projects (specifically within commercial roofing).
Job Duties: •Review scope of project upon assignment to determine technical skill level needed for labor and materials required.
•Responsible for the financial management and outcome of projects under their leadership.
•Responsible for qualifying, generating, pricing, approving budget from estimating and executing change orders.
•Responsible for following or working within the confines of the client contract and providing documentation as required.
•Responsible for coordinating and meeting safety requirements by client, NAR and OSHA.
Coordinate with the Safety Department to develop site specific safety plans as needed.
•Visit projects as required and jurisdiction needs.
•Ensure permits are obtained if needed based on the size of the project as required. Ensure all required inspections are scheduled and completed per jurisdiction requirements.
•Secure contract labor for the project and negotiate pricing as required.
•Provide scope and labor offer package to FP coordinator for contract creation.
•Provide scope and budget review per NAR project planning procedures for projects being done with in-house labor.
•Responsible for product approval by client or jurisdiction.
•Place order for materials and equipment to be shipped to the location as required.
•Establish start date and set anticipated completion date with communication provided to client and NAR personnel.
•At a minimum, update customer weekly with progress and adjust expectations for completion of project due to any unforeseen delays. Coordinate with customer experience team on delays or updates in accordance with client requirements for CEC to upload to client portal. Responsible for positive customer experience.
•Update service database with all details of the project and appropriate customer experience coordinator for client communication.
•Coordinate final inspections with customer and NAR customer service team for client portal notification.
•Adjust status to confirmed following project completion.
•Prepare reports as needed to advise leadership of the status of all projects during weekly BOJ meeting as well as client reports as needed.
•Close out documents provided to Service Invoice Coordinator for invoicing as needed.
•Ad hoc responsibilities as needed

Skills and Qualifications - 5 years in leadership/management
- 5 years in relevant industry (construction, roofing, building envelope)
- Experience with multi-site management
- Experience managing projects from start to finish

Working Conditions: •Work is performed in a hybrid environment (including office, roof tops, customer spaces, and warehouse).
•Must be able to work in extreme weather conditions ranging from extreme cold to extreme heat and other inclement weather circumstances.
•Repetitive bending and stooping with occasional lifting up to 75 pounds is required.
•Must be able to lift and setup a ladder weighing up to 75 pounds.
•Must be able to work rapidly under pressure and at heights.
•Must be able to climb ladders on commercial roofs at a height of 20 to 40 feet.
•Must be able to climb a ladder or stairs to get onto a rooftop to conduct an inspection.
•Must be able to work at heights ranging from a single story to multi-story building.
•Must be able to wear a full, body harness when necessary for fall protection.
•Must be able to wear a respirator when necessary due to the environment.
•Repetitive finger/hand/forearm motion necessary for completing data entry. Ability to manipulate keyboards, telephone keypads and copy equipment essential. Talking and listening required for answering telephones and conversing personally with customers and staff
•Travel will average 50% depending on customer needs and visits to sites/customers by car or airplane
