Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON) – Long Term Care

Overview:

• Lead nursing operations in a Long Term Care facility.
• Ensure high standards of patient care, staff management, and regulatory compliance.

Responsibilities:

• Provide leadership and direction to nursing staff.
• Develop and implement nursing policies and procedures.
• Oversee recruitment, training, and retention of nursing staff.
• Collaborate with other department heads for interdisciplinary coordination.
• Monitor and maintain compliance with state and federal regulations.
• Manage the nursing department budget.
• Serve as a liaison between residents, families, and healthcare providers.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and risk management activities.

Qualifications:

• Current RN license State of Texas
• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) required
• 2 years of nursing experience, with 2 years in Long Term Care leadership/management.
• Strong understanding of Long Term Care regulations.
• Excellent communication, leadership, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage resources and adapt to changing priorities.
• Commitment to quality improvement and patient-centered care.
