Gowan Milling is looking for a Manufacturing Coordinator. This position is part time, with option to transition to full time, based on department need and employee performance. This position reports into the Logistics Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Coordination of shipping and receiving activities
• Tracking of daily production and material usage
• Coordination with production supervisors
• Coordination with customer toll representatives or buyer/ planners to arrange for appropriate delivery dates
• Customer production invoicing
• Documentation and filling of logistics activities
• Switchboard operations
• Typing and word processing
• Attend customer meetings
• Annual inventory audits with the customers
• Any number of other jobs as required

• Strong verbal and written communication skills
• Knowledge of ERP systems (SAP / Microsoft / JDEdwards E1)
• Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
• Working knowledge of shipping and receiving procedures
• Strong Math skills necessary for completion of assigned tasks (Formulations, Bill of materials, inventory loss and gain)
• Working knowledge of general front office procedures and office etiquette
• Knowledge of DOT requirements

• Occasionally required to move around plant site and production buildings.
• Occasionally lift and/or move objects 5-30 lbs.
• Ability to bend, twist, sit, stoop, kneel, push, pull, and crawl.
