Job Summary:
We are seeking a dedicated Middle and High School Science Teacher to join our team and inspire students to reach their full potential. The ideal candidate will have a passion for education and the ability to engage and motivate middle and high school students. We have a Christ-centered environment. Applicant must be someone who is a member of a local church and is in regular attendance. Applicant needs to be prepared to give a brief testimony.

Duties:
- Develop and implement engaging lesson plans that align with the curriculum and with Alabama State Course of Study
- Provide instruction in various subjects such as Science, and other related areas
- Utilize learning technology to enhance classroom instruction
- Offer academic advising and mentoring to students
- Assist in curriculum development and assessment
- Conduct tutoring sessions for students in need of extra support
- Foster a positive and inclusive learning environment

Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or in a Science field; Master's degree preferred
- Teaching certification/license preferred, hours in the field will be accepted
- Proficiency in Science and other relevant subjects
- Experience in mentoring and tutoring
- Knowledge of library services and learning technology
- Strong public speaking skills
- Ability to calculate grades accurately
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development
