We are looking for a talented principal data scientist with Python programming skills who is excited manipulating large amounts of structured and unstructured complex data sets into useful information to solve critical intelligence community (IC) problems. You’ll write scripts to integrate data, conduct exploratory data analysis to discover hidden patterns, apply machine learning to train predictive models, and use the right combination of tools to turn that set of disparate data points into objective answers to help mission partners make informed decisions. You’ll provide the customer with a deep understanding of their data, what it all means, and how they can best use it.

Key Responsibilities:

• Automate, review, and labeling of overhead imagery.
• Help develop and employ machine learning algorithms, including object detection.
• Programming in Python.
• Use algorithms from academia such as CNN MIL, DETR and data sets such as Resner-50 to improve automated target detection.
• Report finding to client and IC community.

Basic Qualifications:

• Bachelor of Science degree in Software Engineering, Computer Science or related field
• 5 Years of Experience in a related field
• Current TS/SCI
• Proficiency in Python programming
• Proficiency in computer vision and image processing
• Familiarity with object detection with weak labels and multiple instance learning.
• Excellent communication skills are a must.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in AI/ML processing for target detection
• Experience in software development, including Agile process model
