Key Responsibilities
- Develop and fine-tune machine learning models for predictive maintenance and resource optimization, tailored to the needs of federal government clients in transportation, logistics, and energy
- Work directly with government clients to understand their specific needs and challenges, translating these into technical requirements for model development
- Manage, analyze, and interpret large datasets to identify trends and insights relevant to the objectives
- Work closely with a development team to integrate machine learning models into broader solutions, ensuring alignment with client needs and industry best practices
- Communicate complex data insights and model results to both technical and non-technical stakeholders in a clear and effective manner
- Stay abreast of the latest developments in machine learning, predictive maintenance, and resource optimization to continually enhance the solutions offered
- Ensure all data handling and model development comply with federal regulations and security protocols
- Bachelor's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- 7 years of experience (5 years with Master's) in data science
- 5 years of experience (3 years with Master's) in developing machine learning models, particularly for predictive maintenance and resource optimization to include:
- Familiarity with machine learning libraries and frameworks like PyTorch or TensorFlow
- Strong programming skills in Python, R, or similar languages
- Experience working with large datasets and knowledge of data processing, data cleansing, and data mining techniques
- Excellent problem-solving abilities and analytical skills
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with experience in consulting or client-facing roles
- Ability to obtain and retain Public Trust clearance
- Knowledge of federal government contracting and domain-specific knowledge in transportation, logistics, or smart energy
- Master's degree in Data Science, Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field
- Jupyter Notebook experience
- AWS Certified Data Engineer (Associate)
- AWS Certified Machine Learning (Specialty)
