Job Overview

The Accounts Payable Associate will perform a variety of accounting tasks as well as maintaining and reviewing documents, performs data entry and check processing for all incoming vendor invoices, supplier services and internal expense reports.

What does your day look like? Some of your duties may include:

• Reconcile expenses and inventory payables.
• Maintain all vendor check stubs and related backup.
• Review and enter all employee expense reports.
• Match all vendor purchase orders, receivers and invoices.
• Prepare batches of invoices for data entry and enter into accounts payable system.
• Review accounts payable report to determine payments for check processing.
• Manage and match vendor deductions against vendor invoices.
• Perform check processing as required.
• Correct any invoice discrepancies.
• Operate and manage all postage meter services.

Things you need to be able to do:

• Ability to communicate effectively with vendors, departmental managers and co-workers.
• High level of accuracy and attention to detail.

• Microsoft Office

Things that are a plus:

• High School Diploma or higher education
• 2-3 years high volume accounts payable experience.
