Gould, Kobrick & Schlapp, P.C. is Hiring a Staff Auditor Near New York, NY

This is an entry-level position for accounting majors only, which involves the performance of GAAS financial statement audits and the preparation of governmental filings and returns. The firm specializes in providing audit, consulting, and related services to Taft-Hartley and other types of employee benefit plans and to labor organizations and other nonprofits.

We provide a family friendly environment with attractive work/life balance in a 20-person mid-town CPA firm.

We currently have a hybrid remote/office presence work arrangement with a one-day per week office presence.

We adjust our summer schedule so staff could enjoy 6 Fridays off. We require 10 extra hours in busy season over the normal weekly 37.5 hours.

We provide in-house CPE and extensive on-the-job training as well as paid time off to sit for the CPA exam.

Some local travel to client locations is required to conduct audit fieldwork.

Candidates must have a bachelors degree in accounting and must complete the assessments on Indeed. No experience is required. THE TWO SKILLS TESTS MUST BE COMPLETED FOR YOU TO BE CONSIDERED.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $60,000.00 per year
