Gotham Companies is seeking a compassionate and experienced Pediatric Registered Nurses to provide exceptional care to a medically fragile pediatric patient requiring G-Tube feeding and Tracheostomy (Trach) care in a home care setting. As a trusted member of our team, you will be responsible for ensuring the well-being of our young patient with specific medical needs.

Responsibilities:

• Provide skilled nursing care to pediatric patient who requires vent monitoring, trach care, GT feeds and constant cardiopulmonary monitoring
• Administer medications, monitor vital signs, and perform ongoing assessments to ensure proper patient care..
• Collaborate with physicians, caregivers, and families to create and implement comprehensive care plans.
• Help to educate caregivers on G-Tube and Trach care, maintenance, complications, and emergency procedures.
• Maintain accurate and detailed medical records, documenting patient's progress, treatments, and any changes in their condition.
• Provide emotional support to patients and their families, ensuring a comfortable and nurturing environment.

Requirements:

• Current and unrestricted NYS state license as a Registered Nurse (RN).
• Minimum of 2 years of pediatric nursing experience, with expertise in G-Tube and Trach care.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required; Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) certification Required.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively communicate with patients, families, and other healthcare professionals.
• Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to handle complex medical situations.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team.
• Compassionate and patient-focused approach towards pediatric patients and their families.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Per diem

Pay: $60.00 per hour

License/Certification:

• NYS Registered Nurse License (Required)

Ability to Relocate:

• Staten Island, NY: Relocate before starting work (Required)

Willingness to travel:

• 75% (Preferred)
