Gotham Companies is seeking a Gynecologist for a per diem schedule in the Parkchester neighborhood in the Bronx.

Job Summary:

As a Gynecologist, you specialize in providing medical care and treatment to female patients, focusing on reproductive health, pregnancy, and gynecological disorders. Your primary responsibilities will include conducting examinations, diagnosing conditions, prescribing medications, and providing counseling and education to patients.

About the Facility: This facility is a multispecialty diagnostic and treatment center with a team of dedicated healthcare professionals offering a range of medical specialties including Internal Medicine, Cardiology, Orthopedics, Gynecology, Podiatry, and Endocrinology. On-site radiology services also available.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct routine gynecological examinations, including pelvic exams, Pap smears, and breast examinations.
• Diagnose and treat gynecological conditions and disorders, such as menstrual irregularities, pelvic pain, infections, and menopausal symptoms.
• Provide prenatal care to pregnant patients, including monitoring fetal development, performing ultrasounds, and managing high-risk pregnancies.
• Prescribe medications and treatments based on patient assessments and medical history.
• Educate patients about contraceptive options, family planning, sexually transmitted infections (STIs), and reproductive health.
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals, including obstetricians, primary care physicians, nurses, and specialists, to provide comprehensive care to patients.

Qualifications:

• Board certification (BC/BE) in Obstetrics and Gynecology
• Valid medical license to practice in New York State
• Completion of residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology.
• Strong clinical skills and knowledge of gynecological conditions, treatments
• Compassionate and patient-centered approach to care.
• Commitment to providing high-quality, evidence-based care to patients.
• Willingness to adhere to ethical and professional standards of conduct.

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand, walk, and perform surgical procedures for extended periods.
• Manual dexterity and fine motor skills for conducting examinations

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $140.00 - $150.00 per hour

Expected hours: No less than 16 per week
