Description Gordon Brothers is looking for a Digital Marketing, Senior Associate to support and grow our evolving digital marketing efforts. Reporting to the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, this role will be based in our global headquarters in Boston, Massachusetts. This role will work with global colleagues across businesses to assist in the execution and management of digital marketing campaigns across the website, social media and email marketing. This position is best suited for experienced digital marketing professionals looking to continue to grow within marketing, working with experienced marketing professionals in a fast-paced, growing company. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES/ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS General Contribute to the team’s overall digital strategy, including identifying needs and proposing solutions Ensure timely execution of deliverables across digital channels (email, social media, public facing websites) while adhering to the company’s brand guidelines and templates Work diligently to minimize errors and discrepancies in digital marketing materials, striving for accuracy and consistency in all deliverables Conduct basic troubleshooting when necessary across digital platforms Social Media Support social media marketing efforts by scheduling posts, monitoring engagement, and analyzing performance Work with the business to establish targeting pools for paid campaigns that expand our reach and deliver on campaign goals Keep on top of algorithmic changes and best practices across social channels, championing new ideas for creative engagement and recommending opportunities Serve as community manager for social platforms, monitoring for brand engagement opportunities with employees, industry partners and publications Email Marketing Build, test and obtain necessary approvals to deploy marketing emails Assist in the development and execution of email marketing campaigns, including list segmentation, scheduling and performance tracking Assist in building email automation programs to increase engagement and scale our email marketing Website Publish website content, such as company thought leadership, press releases and case studies to support global marketing campaigns, while maintaining adherence to company brand and style Manage regular rotation of content in featured areas of the website to ensure content is fresh and relevant to audience Assist in execution of campaign landing pages to support integrated marketing campaigns Reporting & Analysis Generate regular reports on key metrics across the website, social media and email, providing actionable recommendations for improvement Collaborate with the Senior Manager, Digital Marketing, to develop strategies based on data-driven insights EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE Bachelor’s degree preferred Five to seven years of experience, at least three of which include growing a social media program within B2B Experience using content management systems (CMS) to update website content. Any mainstream CMS experience is helpful, although WordPress is preferred Experience using an enterprise level email service provider (ESP) and marketing automation platform, such as Pardot, Marketo, ActiveCampaigns, HubSpot, Eloqua or Marketing Cloud Experience managing a LinkedIn business account, with LinkedIn Certification a plus KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, ABILITIES A passion for digital marketing, as demonstrated through professional growth and staying up to date on developments in the field – new methods, new media, successes and trends Ability to work independently, as well as with a variety of teams, and effectively handle multiple projects with a constant eye on deadlines and priorities Effective self-management skills and strong sense of ownership. Strong organizational skills to manage multiple aspects of digital marketing concurrently. Innate desire to learn and continuously seek ways to improve strategies and outcomes. Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data and draw actionable insights. Excellent communication skills, with a strong attention to detail Understanding of basic HTML/CSS as it relates to web and email content Google Analytics Certification a plus, but not required. Digital Marketing, Social Media Marketing, or Email Marketing Certifications from reputable sources a plus, but not required.
