Goodwill TalentBridge, along with our client, are seeking dedicated and experienced Community Coaches to join their team. As a Coach, you will provide individualized attention, which encourages each participant’s ability to participate in the community through volunteerism or community employment. Each day is a fun, exciting adventure assisting individuals with opportunities in the community. Responsibilities:

• Creatively develop opportunities and experiences for participants that focus on community-based learning and involvement in the community.
• Plan and execute weekly plans for assigned participants.
• Provide individualized attention that encourages the participant’s ability to attain the highest practical physical, mental, and psychosocial well-being possible.
• Responsible for the safety and well-being of up to 6 participants while out in the community.
• Assist in goal development and individualized plans, providing support for goal and plan achievement.
• Interact with participants in a manner that displays respect and maintains their dignity and serve as a role model to all individuals associated.
• Maintain daily case notes of all participants.
• Demonstrate resourcefulness and exhibit appropriate problem-solving skills.
• Continuously demonstrate a high degree of patience, reliability, and sensitivity toward others.

Requirements:

• High School Diploma or GED required, CNA or CBRF Certified preferred.
• Must possess a current driver’s license and insurance.
• Experience working with people with disabilities is preferred.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $16.00 per hour

Expected hours: 35 – 40 per week
