Goodwill TalentBridge has partnered with a regional health network a detail-oriented and organized individual to join their team as a Financial Counselor/Patient Accounts Representative!
In this role, you will be responsible for managing patient accounts, ensuring accurate billing and timely payment processing. Your financial background and excellent communication skills will be essential in providing exceptional customer service to our patients.
Duties: - Review patient accounts and verify accuracy of charges and payments - Process insurance claims and follow up on any denials or discrepancies - Investigate and resolve billing inquiries and disputes - Collaborate with insurance companies, healthcare providers, and patients to resolve outstanding balances - Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with privacy regulations - Provide financial counseling to patients, explaining billing processes and payment options - Assist with financial analysis and reporting as needed
Qualifications: - Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or related field preferred, not required. - Previous experience in tax, financial services, or related field is a plus. Strong attention to detail and ability to work with numerical data accurately - Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal - Proficient in using computer software for data entry and record keeping - Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
