THE POSITION

This position will be responsible for the first impression customers of our eleven retail locations experience; a clean and bright store including clear floors, clean and streak free windows and a fresh and spotless entryway. This position will be traveling between all retail locations providing basic repair- services involving the use of hand and power tools in addition to select custodial services. All work is performed year round and in all weather conditions.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Comply with all Goodwill, local, state and federal guidelines to ensure your safety and that of your coworkers and customers.
• Drive company vehicles as directed in a professional and courteous manner. Travel logs are to be maintained and submitted weekly.
• Maintain tools and equipment in clean, organized and ready for service at all times.
• Control inventory levels of supply stock and repair materials.
• Operate and maintain equipment including walk behind cleaners, buffers and scrubbers, power washers and blowers. Seasonal operation of show plowing equipment including plows, snow blowers & skid steer will be required.
• Maintain store appearance in accordance with established practice. Windows, floors and walls are focus areas.

ROLE REQUIREMENTS (The stuff you must have)

• Experience with all aspects of facility maintenance and repair including retail store fixtures.
• Good understanding of and ability to perform plumbing, carpentry and painting assignments.
• Ability to read and interpret building prints and instructions.
• Clean driving record and valid NYS Driver’s License.
• Good organization and time management skills.
• Demonstrated ability to work independently and on schedule.
• Must be able to lift, exert, push, pull, carry or otherwise move up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently and/or up to 20 pounds constantly with no support.

• Goodwill regularly evaluates our compensation and benefit packages to ensure we remain competitive. The pay for this position is 20/hour.
