Description of Responsibilities: Great customer service skills. Able to bend, stoop, kneel, reach frequently and lift up to 40 pounds with or without assistance. Basic English/Spanish communication skills. Must be able to work a flexible schedule and weekends. Greet donors and thank them for their donation. Offer donor a receipt. Sort and organize merchandise as per instructions. Prior felony convictions will not exclude you from employment.

Operate equipment in the facility to load/unload trucks and organize materials to their respective designated locations. Requires ability to stack/unstuck materials safely, remove unsafe pallets and gaylords out of use, keep donation center, both inside and out of building clean, neat and free of debris at all times using Kaizen 5 minute drills. Sort donations Place all salvage/recyclable commodities in appropriate containers, hoppers, gaylords, totes or other designated location to minimize trash disposal expense. Greet donors/customers with friendly smile, demeanor and eye contact. Exercise sound judgement when deciding whether a donation is acceptable or not, using tact when refusing a donation. Thank donors for donations and be courteous to all donors. Travel to multiple sites.

Required Experience: High School graduate or its equivalent.Fluent in both English and Spanish preferred. Some experience in retail and/or stock handling preferred. One year of supervisory experience preferred.

Required skills: Ability to work with very minimum supervision; understand and follow oral or written instructions; understand and follow oral or written instructions; frequently lift up to 40 pounds; Able to work in outside environment with exposure to heat and other elements of weather.
