As the Senior Manager of Business Analytics at Good American, you will be responsible for leading the development and execution of data-driven strategies to support the growth and profitability of our e-commerce, retail, and wholesale operations. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to analyze business performance, identify trends and opportunities, and provide insights that drive operational efficiencies and revenue growth. We are looking for someone with a broad technical background in data analytics, strong business acumen, who takes ownership of their work, and is focused on customer needs. The successful candidate will communicate crisply in non-technical terms to senior management. They will have an ability to make data-driven conclusions and will be comfortable with ambiguity while working in a fast-paced dynamic environment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • the development and implementation of a comprehensive business analytics strategy that aligns with the company's goals and objectives.
  • sales/transactional data, customer behavior, and market trends to provide insights and recommendations to key stakeholders across the organization.
  • cross-functionally with ecomm, marketing, planning, merchandising and other teams to optimize marketing campaigns and promotions based on data-driven insights.
  • in-depth analysis of existing business processes, systems, and workflows to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
  • input drivers and validate integrity of the reporting to influence strategic decision-making and planning.
  • data to identify disruptive ideas and provide recommendations to business leaders across the organization for growth and scalability.
  • Interprets business needs and issues by gathering, eliciting, creating, analyzing, documenting and validating the Business areas user and/or technical (functional/non-functional) requirements.
  • and maintain KPIs and dashboards to track and report on key performance metrics across e-commerce, retail, and wholesale channels.
  • closely with the finance team to forecast sales, monitor budget performance, and support financial planning and analysis.
  • internal and external stakeholders and data scientists to ensure accurate and timely delivery of analytics projects.
  • up-to-date on industry best practices and emerging trends in business analytics to drive continuous improvement, efficiencies and innovation.
Qualifications:
  • degree in Business, Economics, Statistics, or a related field
  • years of experience in business analytics, preferably in the retail or e-commerce industry.
  • analytical and problem-solving skills with proficiency in data analysis tools and techniques.
  • understanding of data processes and how they relate to business objectives Experience leading a team and managing complex analytics projects.
  • data mining abilities and natural curiosity to dig deep into the metrics to solve problems or identify opportunities.
  • attention to detail and ability to work both independently and as a team-player under tight deadlines.
  • communication and presentation skills with the ability to translate data insights into actionable recommendations.
  • track record of driving business growth and profitability through data-driven decision-making in a fast paced retail industry
  • of e-commerce platforms, retail operations, and wholesale distribution is a plus.
  • in Looker, Shopify, Google Analytics, Big Query and other BI tools. SQL skills is a big plus.
  • to work efficiently on a team and successfully collaborate on large projects.
  • to think critically and complete deliverables in a fast-paced environment.

Please note that this role requires to be onsite four days a week.
