Position Summary

Manage all aspects of a job by coordinating lead times for products, obtaining accurate information from the client, ensuring products meet customer expectations, creating shop drawings, and completing all duties in a timely fashion.

What you will do:

• Start in training to learn processes, products, and procedures.
• Contact customers to confirm product requirements.
• Follow-up with client for additional information.
• Figure fabric quantities for purchase orders.
• Enter information into database.
• Create word shop drawings in database.
• Review shop drawings with client.
• Create and check delivery tickets.
• Field measure "installed" jobs.
• Check CAD & word shop drawings.
• Reserve shop time.
• Work on standard drawings and review drawings in AutoCAD.
• Perform material take-offs from bid documents.
• Support other Project Management team members as needed.

What you will bring to the table:

• 2 years of college OR equivalent experience required.
• Team-oriented.
• Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication skills.

• Ability to work in a fast-paced, ever-changing, deadline-driven environment.

• Excellent attention to detail.

• Outstanding mathematical skills.
• Understanding of blueprints and scaled dimensions.
• Knowledge of personal computers and MS Office applications (Word and Excel).
• Experience with AutoCAD or similar drafting programs. (Not required, but helpful to have.)
• Familiarity with general construction processes, carpentry tools, and conventions (such as measuring, plumb, level, and finish carpentry).
• Ability to acquire needed informed from customers.
